Welcome To Mark Wurtz Golf
Back Ground

Winning more than 40 Junior Golf titles in Seattle and throughout the Pacific Northwest including winning the Seattle Junior Championship on three separate occasions. Majoring in business administration, I attended New Mexico State on a full athletic scholarship. In 1990 I began playing on the Canadian tour wining the Canadian Tour Championship in 1992 after which I played continuously for the next 14 years on the both the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour.
Since a sabbatical from competitive golf, I have devoted my time to teaching the game that is so dear to my heart. For the past few years I have become a proponent of E.A. Tischler’s New Horizon’s Golf approach and am featured in several swing videos displaying the fundamentals of this concept. During this time I have also been teaching the golf swing at Big Horn CC and The Plantation GC in Palm Springs.
I pride myself on being able to take a student’s swing and improve upon the existing swing rather than formulate a completely new swing that may not fit one’s personality nor physical ability. I belief in making golf fun for everyone by keeping the swing as simple and easy to understand as possible
